Exceptional Interior Designer with BIM Experience

We are seeking an excellent Interior Designer who can quickly develop designs and construction documents, coordinate consultants and interact well with project staff and partners.  A prospective candidate should be capable of understanding and applying codes and regulations, completing assignments per schedule, and producing quality documentation.  Experience in senior living, healthcare and/or multifamily is a plus but not a requirement.

Requirements/Responsibilities:

  • At least 3-5 years of experience in an interior design or architectural office
  • Capable of taking a project from concept through design and construction integrating interior architecture, finishes and furnishings
  • Proficiency in BIM (ArchiCAD/Revit)
  • Basic understanding of building and life safety codes
  • Aptitude in construction and construction details
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Demonstrated problem solving and critical thinking skills with an aptitude for thinking ahead to meet project goals
  • Motivated and flexible
  • Professional demeanor

Education Required:

  • Accredited Interior Design Degree

We are seeking an outstanding Interior Designer who can quickly develop designs and construction documents, coordinate consultants, and interact well with project staff, clients, and partners.  A prospective candidate should be able to effectively coordinate multiple interiors projects to ensure effective execution with in-house architectural and landscape teams. The candidate should be capable of understanding and applying codes and regulations, conceptualizing their own designs, completing assignments per schedule, and producing quality documentation.  Experience in senior living, healthcare and/or multifamily is required.

Requirements/Responsibilities:

  • At least 7-10 years of experience in an interior design or architectural office
  • Experience developing and fostering new client relationships and business opportunities
  • FF&E Purchasing Experience
  •  Ability to take the lead on the design of a project
  • Capable of taking a project from concept through design, construction, and installation integrating interior architecture, finishes and furnishings
  • Proficiency in BIM (ArchiCAD/Revit)
  • Understanding of building and life safety codes
  • Strong organizational and communication skills

We are seeking an exceptional Construction Administrator who can effectively coordinate multiple architectural and interiors projects to ensure effective execution.  The candidate will have good written and verbal communication skills and thorough understanding of contracts and construction.  

The candidate can quickly review construction documents, coordinate consultants and interact well with clients, developers, contractors, project staff and partners.  A prospective candidate should be capable of understanding and applying codes and regulations, thorough proficiency with technical construction details and specifications, submittal reviews, and ability to complete assignments per schedule.  Experience in senior living, healthcare, and/or multi-family is a plus but not a requirement.

Requirements:

•    5-10 years of experience in an architecture and construction
•    3 years focused on construction administration
•    Detailed understanding of life safety codes
•    Proficiency in construction and construction details
•    In depth knowledge of technical specifications
•    Strong organizational and communication skills
•    Ability to efficiently coordinate multiple complex construction documents
•    Naturally inquisitive; prone to investigate problems with little direction
•    Motivated and flexible with an aptitude for teaching and giving direction
•    Professional demeanor

Education Required:

Landscape Architect


Landscape Architect


Landscape Architect

Pi Architects is seeking a mid-level Landscape Architect for its Landscape Architecture Department. This position will focus primarily on landscape and hardscape design, exterior space programming, as well as site development/planning for senior living developments. In addition, this position requires working and closely coordinating with Architects and Interior Designers at Pi, as well as outside consultants, on commercial scale projects throughout Texas and across the nation. The successful candidate must be a self-starter, mature, organized, detail oriented, flexible, possess a strong work ethic and have the ability to work with minimal supervision.

Basic Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture
  • 3-5 years’ minimum experience in a professional design office

Design & Site Planning:

  • Understanding of site analysis and space programming
  • Strong planting design skills and understanding of aesthetic principals of design
  • Understanding of design needs for seniors and accessibility regulations a plus

Communication & Technology:

  • Clearly and confidently communicate with vendors, subs, other design team members, and Clients
  • Advanced knowledge of AutoCAD (ArchiCAD or LandFX experience is a plus, but not required)
  • Graphic presentation skills including hand drawing and rendering as well as proficiency in graphic software such as Photoshop, SketchUp or similar programs
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications

Administration & Management:

  • Effectively balance project time, program, site, and budget constraints
  • Understand project sequencing, approval, permitting, and construction activities
  • Construction administration, project close-out, and post construction evaluation

Professional Competence:

  • Ability to quickly research, understand, and interpret standard and unfamiliar development codes
  • Able to organize, coordinate, and create a complete set of pricing, permit, and construction documents
  • Strong knowledge of construction and coordination with Structural, MEP, and Civil systems/components

Personal Skills:

  • Effectively juggle multiple projects at once
  • Critical thinking and problem solving
