Residents are encouraged to embrace life in the new memory care operated by Baptist Community Services in Amarillo, Texas. This “small-house” prairie styled craftsman inspired design promotes independence through freedom of movement and choice. Residents are encouraged to enjoy the sky, sun, and stars prevalent in the high plains with activity and reflective outdoor courtyards.
The two neighborhoods support the staff in providing individual care for the residents, encouraging resident interaction while minimizing over-stimulation. From quiet sunrooms, to intimate living and game rooms, and to energetic activity rooms, residents can settle into the area they feel most comfortable.
